Myn Voices: Luke Allen

Luke Allen, founder of Luke Allen Productions, was born and raised in the Scranton, Wilkes Barre area. He has been a resident of the Philadelphia area since 1983. He is a recovering addict with 22 years sobriety. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Chestnut Hill College with a specialty in Addictions Counseling.  His employment has included working with battered women in shelter and in area drug and alcohol programs with women and men who have suffered addictions. He is a member of the GLBTQ community, and joined the Trans community in 2008. He acted as playwright, director, and producer of The Wire Monkey in 2012; Executive Producer of Going, Wanting for Puddy Dance Project 2014, Executive Producer of the film Ardmore Junction 2014. Currently, he is the playwright and producer of One Evening at St. Lucia. He has written and will produce his next musical, Hard in the Spring of 2015.
